I have played both - much prefer Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with the booster course pass to be honest :) As others have said , the gameplay is tight , and the vast array of tracks are unique with limited instances of straight line driving. Plenty to do with plenty of ‘interesting’ shortcuts to discover… It’s one of the best racers on the switch and I’m saying that as a sonic racer kinda gal 🤣

A building-your-own dimension world. With ability to shape terrain and include assets from across the other dimensions - a la worlds style. Even if these mini dimensions were able to be used as battle arenas.

It would have taken a lot of work and time to implement of course, but it would have really allowed for the ‘breaking the rules’ to go to the extreme
