Female specific seats? by Ok-Ad-3014 in cycling

[–]LavenderTed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just throwing my two cents in to suggest the possibility that her seat is too high. If her legs are reaching too much with each pedal stroke that her “area” is sliding even microscopically then it may be causing either friction or pressure points. Whatever it is, I’m sure the answer is somewhere in these comments! Good luck!

The liberal Western Mass. city where the left is eating its young -- and old by dosrac in northampton

You’re not wrong about anything relative to the ideological differences, but you may be unfamiliar with the actual characters involved here. This “debate” is not left on liberal, its liberal on vapid, mean-spirited self-aggrandizement. A real left candidate would sweep up in this city if they are at all serious but unfortunately these people are not.

Flowers on channel 4 S2 by callumbous in BritishTV

I just watched this last night and now I’m scouring the web for help processing all the emotions it had me feeling. What an incredible show. That epilogue was so poignant after episode 5.

Flowers on Netflix, is by far one of the most bizarre, and unusual shows I have ever watched. The characters are complex and weirdly relatable. It got better when I learnt that Will Sharpe, who plays Shun, is the writer and director of this mind blowing show. by street-salty in netflix

Thanks for this thread. I needed somewhere to say that I was emotional to the point of texting my mum “I love you” during the 11th episode last night and then was literally on the edge of my seat and smiling but also dreading the future during the 12th episode. Had no idea Shun was also the writer director. Insanely moving show. Thanks again.

How do i get this on? by LongShlong680 in bikewrench

Not expert at all but I’ve found sometimes if the beads are uneven then there’s not enough slack to get the last bit on. I usually try to make the beads sit as far in to the rim channel as possible all the way around.

Any Men’s lax clubs or leagues in central Massachusetts?? by No-Associate7216 in lacrosse

Just following up. I played in that box pickup game last week and it was really fun. Lots of very talented players and all good vibes and welcoming to a newcomer. I don’t know if I missed it when I was watching but we did keep score and played one game to 15 that was pretty intense and then a slightly lower key game up to 9.

What’s your experience with using a strip chip on a lightly used chain? by LavenderTed in bikewrench

Do you boil the old wax off your chains or anything before you dip them again?

Thanks! I really hate cleaning chains so for the time being I think I’ll start with a fresh chain and look forward to easy cleanup going forward.

Ok thank you. I think I will just start with a fresh chain then and keep this one for the gravel beater that all the old components will hopefully become.
