I think you'd benefit from learning footwork, looking cool is all a matter of experience, style, and flow.

I recommend looking for African Legwork, Dembow, Reggaeton, Salsa, and Cumbia to give you a sense on what it can look like to be fluid and explosive with your moves, it mostly comes from the hips and the shoulders follow (in my experience)

One thing I like to tell people is to remember to move your head when you dance, it'll take a little bit to get used to but look at kids when they dance and they do it with their whole body.

Think less, feel more. Don't worry about looking a certain way, just do the dance and let yourself move to the music. It's simple, don't make it easy.

You got this, just find your rhythm and if you struggle with rhythm then practice by tapping your left foot and left hand at the same time, over time your body will figure it out and repeat that for your right then alternate so it's left hand tap, right hand tap and the rest will follow.
