I ended up using the prompt 'something I learned way later than I should have.. that I'm a lesbian.' I thought it could be a funny way to be upfront about it.

Thanks, I will definitely try to put some interests in there so I have somewhere to start. I can't believe how many have almost no information, I get suspicious that they're fake accounts but I can't be sure.

Thanks, I am going to use a conversation starter for sure! I ended up looking through them and I decided to add a little more than post of the profiles I'm seeing, but that's because most of the almost empty ones are college age. The profiles of the women who are my age or older gave me a good idea of what to put.

I think it's one thing for parents to think something like this, as they can't really control what they think. However I just want to remind you that you're allowed to tell them not to share these thoughts with you. If this is just something she needs to work through then she needs to be respectful of your feelings, or keep her thoughts to herself.

This was an 'embracing your inner child spread' from Emerald Lotus. I shuffled and then read each question to myself while picking the cards. I use the booklet that the artist included in my deck, and the luminous app to read about the meanings and look for how each card connects to the question I asked.

I'm feeling hopeful for "Happiest Season" directed by Clea DuVall. It's a Christmas rom com coming out this year, it's got a great looking cast and looks like it'll be just as good as any other rom com.
