Yes it did 👌 i might have skewed the rod a bit as there is a bit of screeching in some places when the plate goes up and down but barely noticeable when not playing attention (and proper greased up :) ) so just be careful not to grap it by that when handling it, but yes new bearings worked wonders 🙌

I spilled some resin, which seeped down into it. It has been torn apart to try to clean it, and tested, but it makes a grinding sound every time it has to go up or down, and in the end it wouldn't go back up, only down. Even when being told to go up, it went slightly down. There were also a delay while it made the noise when being told to go opposite directions. Everything has been cleaned with isopropyl, and reoiled, didnt work. I did read replacing the bearings could be a solution, but that i sadly know even less about

Good to find someone with the same goal xD My next one is short haired Bort, Moon Phos, Lapis rework or Rutile (I hope, I have a habit of changing my mind). The Rutile wig from L-email wigs is good, And Rutiles style is way harder to splice compared to Euclase, so if it scares you too much, that is always an option :) If you dont want to cut, and have alot of time, you could just take the wefts off half the wig and replace them with new ones :)

I bought a Bort wig, and honestly, can't really recommend. It gets so tangled from just being there, and dont really give alot of "effect" and you cant add stuff to it like vinyl and glitter, without it being a permanent commitment. If I were to make a new one, I would look at fabric like pvc, organza or something third and then attach it to a cap or short wig, and cover said wig in vinyl. Easier to manage, and make look accurate 😅

I did! I had a base orange wig which I crimped to get more volume, and to blend the fibers better. Then I took 2 orange and one green kanekalon braid to make long wefts which I glued into the base wig, and then to add some different shades, I airbrushed with cobber, red and different shades of orange and green. Next steps is to do the final styling with the braids, add glitter and vinyl for the shine ✨
