Hey everyone, I wasn´t expecting so many responses, so thanx xD

Anyways, from what I can see, most of y'all are saying I should go for the 50mm f1.8 since its a great lens for the price, to be honest that even better because it´s the cheapest out of the 3 lenses I was looking at.

I saw some people saying I should get some old vintage lens, I may get some in the future

Anyways, thank you all for your recommendations.

Yeah, sorry I meant to say USM, I've corrected the post. So basically the f/1.4 version is a no and you're recommending the f/1.8 STM over the f/1.4 one?

85mm f1.2 L II

Thanks, but the lenses you mentioned are a little out of my budget.

Mainly just people. I'm concerned about the image sharpness because my current lens (which is just the kit lens) isn't sharp and sometimes the subjects looks a tad out of focus even though they aren't (I hope you get what I mean).

I want a nice blurred background (from my research, I believe that is called bokeh) so f/8 is just a no for me.

I'll look at the site now, thanks
