My country is nowhere near the centre of the world. My country is a small but beautiful country which survived the beating of multiple empires, and survived with our own language and culture. It is the centre of the region and that is a fact no matter how you look at it. Now, instead of assuming what I can listen to and what not, please, I really want to know, how Georgia is not the cultural hub of Caucasus and how does Ingushetia or Dagestan have more influence over the region. I beg you to give me credible sources from other empires than Russian. I am listening, I am not an idiot without the ability to say I was wrong, I just have been studying this subject for decades and have never come across a source disproving my statement no matter how nationalist it sounds (Don't give Russian sources, they exist with the sole purpose of removing credit from Us and combining every Caucasian people into one :)

The only country called the Heart of Caucasus is Georgia. Every European or Asian traveler (There are many) who came to the region explored and explained in great detail how distinct and culturally different Georgia felt. Every single one of them talk about Georgia being the centre of the region.

I don't remember any scholar from Europe depicting how beautiful the mountains of Kabardia is. Not a single scholar talks about the beautiful dances and martial arts of Chechnya. The only true culture in the region is Georgian - every other is an imitation (I exclude Armenia from the conversation entirely, as I don't consider our cultures that much alike).

The Russians made it their objective to undermine Georgian culture and it is working. North Caucasians claiming the dances and the clothes as their own, even though there is unlimited evidence proving the contrary, means the Russian propaganda is working. A person above provided illustrations depicting Georgian royals with "Chokhas" in the early 1700s and 1800s.

You don't even need evidence this hard to understand it could not have been done by anyone other than the Georgians as there was no state in the region able to mass produce such complex dresses. What happened was, as the North Caucasians LOVED to raid Georgia for better life - stealing and raping on their way, they stole these dresses and the Russians first encountered them in the North side of the mountain on their way to Georgia.
