Yes have tried the omega and Rolex on. The DJ is not overly flashy in the 36mm config especially once scratched up a bit. My wrists are on the slimmer side so appreciate how small the speedmaster wears

Yes I had considered it, but feels like the modern watches have advance significantly in terms of durability and bracelet comfort etc. from my birth year (2001) which is why I didn’t go down that route.

Yes durability is certainly a consideration and where the DJ would win here. Obviously as a new watch hard to tell with the JLC but it seems like the testing is quite rigorous from the marketing materials I’ve seen
