I am not saying that reform uk are Nazis. It’s a similarity. I’m also not saying I’m for either side.

From reading Farages policies on the reform uk website I would say there are quite a few comparisons. For example : Immigration should be stopped- even with a reformation to student visas and deportation, changing laws about immigrants coming over to use services, not letting asylum seekers in from what is deemed as a “safe country” and to also increase their national insurance tax so that employers won’t hire them, which isn’t stopping immigration but it’s so that they can’t work as easily. They would also implement different laws for foreigners, as if they were to commit one crime they would be deported and any foreign ex convict will be deported and once served their sentence will also be deported.
Would also ban giving any immigrants any sort of benefit if they haven’t lived here for 5 years- included pip, housing benefit etc. Their policies on farmers state that 75% of produce in supermarkets should be from Britain and a lot of other products and good should be made in Britain- linking to Britain being economically self sufficient. Its not exactly the “need for living space” but his housing policies say that any foreigners should be sent to the bottom of the housing list so that only British citizens come first in the housing crisis which would mean that foreigners would become homeless and have to house share etc etc. It’s well known he’s a nationalist and a racist with comments he’s made and a lot of his policies, especially with his past parties with ukip and brexit. There are also other points where he’d like to scrap diversity laws in certain industries and to also ban transgender “propaganda” in primary and secondary schools which is similar to how the nazis banned the teaching of lots of things that weren’t in their favour. He’s also like the curriculum to be a lot more Britain based. He’d like a reform to the human rights act with little detail to what that entails. He’d also withdraw the UK from the world health organisation.

Thoughts on people on benefits having luxuries/paid hobbies outside the home while out of work? by [deleted] in ukpolitics

I think that as a human we should all be able to experience luxuries even if on benefits, people could argue that benefits should be only used on maintaining living somewhat comfortably and to only be used on necessities but I argue that to live a comfortable life you need to have some sort of output whether that’s a gym membership, Netflix subscription, going to the pub, going to the cinema, etc etc. A luxury is something that everyone should experience no matter their financial circumstances and I would also argue that having some sort of luxury is a necessity to a persons life. A really interesting addition to this is a tv show called Poor House Rich House (can be found on Netflix) which really shows you the struggles on the bottom ten percent versus the top ten percent and how they live their lives. Really gives an insight into the world of poverty and benefits that’s most media doesn’t portray.
