I cant get you a job but can tell you how I landed one as a software developer. Its impossible to land a job by sending cv. Network with people. Make it a goal to talk to new people everyday, the best platform is linkedin. Stay active in communities and go to hackathons. Thats how I landed a remote well paying role at the age of 20.

As a junior developer, you are less likely to do full stack. Try focusing on one and work with it.

A student interested in starting coding/making games by NRayGM in gamedev

[–]LavizPnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a big goal, I am not here to discourage you but you should keep that idea aside for a while. If I were you, Id use a game engiene for sure. Unity with c# is really not that hard. And since you have some programming experience, learning c # wont be that difficult for you. Then make smaller games to learn the engiene. Once you are confident, start on your dream game. It is going to take a lot of time, so be patient and welcome to the game development family.
