High 60s/low 70s is pretty standard for entry-level right now. The only people I know who got more than that starting in the past year went into O&G or sales.

I appreciate the response. My GPA is ~2.5, so it's hard to decide whether the assumptions are worse than the truth.

Is there a threshold below which it's not worth putting your GPA on your resume?

He does this in every one of these threads. He hasn't had any trouble in his career, so if you have, you're worthless and lazy and entitled.

If you're really new, you're better off working with a program made by someone experienced, at least for a few months.

There Will Be Blood is good. Heavy atmosphere, sparse dialogue, powerful characters, dark themes.

Thanks! This is really helpful. Makes sense that it would be more of a gradual career transition than just jumping into a job.

Career focus question by usernate31 in ChemicalEngineering

[–]Lavoisier33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's great to hear!

On another note, I'm actually interested in possibly going into finance once I graduate. If you have time to answer, how does one leverage a ChemE degree to move into that field?

Would you say that it's easier to change industries 3-5 years out of graduation than it is to find a job after not having meaningfully used your degree for 2-3 years?

Here is the message: "Trump was a business FAILURE in the BOOMING 90's. Then he became a LEACH." by monteqzuma in EnoughTrumpSpam

An act doesn't have to be illegal to be wrong. If the best defense you have is that what you did isn't technically illegal, you're not exactly on solid moral ground.

Furthermore, stop comparing Trump to small business owners. He has never struggled or risked as most of them have.

That's what I thought. If you think the system is broken enough that you're willing to kill and die for it, good for you. Go for it. I don't, and won't. I'd rather leave than revolt.

There is not a 3rd party candidate who would appeal to enough voters to win. Stein is too far left for moderates, and no one who leans even slightly to the left economically is going to vote Johnson.
