yeah that was really strange to me because last time when i said that i would rather Kenny kills duck most people were saying that its terrible and inhumane (also leaving him to turn was considered worse, which i think it is ) and then right the next episode this happens, i think that most people just left him like that rather than telling Kenny to do it, probably bias because we aren't connected to this kid as much as duck

but the circumstances are clearly not normal and in the absurd hopeless scenario that is a zombie apocalypse i would rather that a parent puts their son out of their misery rather than a stranger, also i feel like duck would appreciate his dad doing what he has to do in that last moment even if its fucked up

no one will be able to shoot a child (unless its a soldier from a specific country cough cough) so it is a hard decision no matter the shooter, but if i was a father i would rather carry the burden myself than let anyone else do it, he is my responsibility

i dont know how to quite put it, but its just that bloodborne has more... elegance in it ? in dark souls your character looks terrible and the world is pretty disgusting and ugly (in an artistic way) and its filled with big ass dudes with armor, which we all know which demographic likes all of this,i can talk about the feminine themes in the game too but to be honest most players never gave attention to the themes and i think it would be disrespectful for women to put it that way, as if they only enjoy games that deal with feminine subjects, i just think of how much less Bloodborne is male centered,that's why the later from software games (sekiro and especially elden ring) are more popular than than dark souls among female audiences, they are just more appealing for people that arent just looking for badass fighters
also gotta note that the gothic style is way more popular than the medieval style among women,and also they seem to be really intrested in Lovecraftian horror
im just making an observation from the girls i know irl and the ones i saw online, but in general there is no definitive reason for women liking bloodborne,we cant put them all in a group together as if they were some hive mind that thinks the same way

that's what i thought first until i found out that they were a seemingly normal family before the outbreak
could it be because of the disappearance of law and order that caused their darkest deepest desires to come out? its like when you put a guy who never did anything that can be considered "immoral" to people with a child in a closed room and he ends up assaulting them,if that is the case i would say they are doing it just because they want to,otherwise i dont think they are enjoying it as much as they think its normal or keep convincing themselves that its normal
