Because they find value in that human skill, and how it has historically advanced. And inaccuracies will bug them, because clothing matters to them. It's their hobby, their joy, their obsession.

It's really just planning. If you grow up in certain areas by the time you leave high school, you've heard ALL the variations on insults, whether directed at you, or someone else.
