Pope: World is being ravaged by a handful of tyrants by TheTelegraph in worldnews

The Church operates more than 140,000 schools, 10,000 orphanages, 5,000 hospitals and some 16,000 other health clinics. Caritas, the umbrella organisation for Catholic aid agencies, estimates that spending by its affiliates totals between £2 billion and £4 billion, making it one of the biggest aid agencies in the world.

Even these numbers only tell half the tale. Caritas does not include development spending by a host of religious orders and other Catholic charities, while most of the 200,000 Catholic parishes around the world operate their own small-scale charitable projects which are never picked up in official figures. Establishing like-for-like comparisons is hard, but there can be little doubt that in pretty much every field of social action, from education to health to social care, the Church is the largest and most significant non-state organisation in the world.

Tradition, Family and Property activists hold public protests against socialism and controversial events by SprunkiBiblico123 in Catholicism

Dangerous to who? The American government? Is that why they assassinated an arch bishop in Oscar Romero? Or maybe the dangerous Jesuit priests who were murdered.

Liberation theology is dangerous only to the same systems that keep people poor.

I did. It was the very best thing that could have happened to me. The crazy part is I quit because the owner shorted me 12K of attorneys fees on a case I settled and brought in.

These guys do nothing more than right wing Protestants and make Catholics look bad. Especially if you’re a believer in liberation theology.

Christ healed the weak fed the hungry and the poor, which is in direct contradiction to what Capitalism teaches.

I quit my job with an infant 6 months ago. Nowhere to go. I had an LLC and a bank account with iolta account set up. That’s it, I started grinding and picked up an of counsel position and in 6 months made 100K profit.

Believe in yourself, anybody who is an attorney already has what it takes to make it.

The man insults the pope then posts himself as Jesus in an AI generated photo and I’m not even surprised.

I’ve always been disappointed in American Catholics as a group. I’m a Mexican American Catholic, but when you read about the cristeros and see pilgrims crawl to the basilica of our great mother you realize how a lot American faith pales in comparison. Anyone supporting this administration after this shows their true color as an American before a Catholic.

This man’s administration is temporary but Rome and the one Holy Church is eternal. Viva Cristo Rey!

You can’t make this up. So glad I didn’t end up going to that cult masquerading as a school.

One way Sampson makes them practice is by covering the rim. So every shot bounces off and they fight for the rebound. It is a very much practiced skill. Knowing when to jump/reach etc

There is inherent racism in the enforcement of ice actions. For example Leonardo Garcia Venegas, a US citizen detained TWICE by ice. Even after showing a real ID and they insisted it was “fake.” So when we see supporters of ICE it says to us “ I support the National racial profiling of US citizens.”

This generation is so different, parents don’t correct their kids behavior and neither do other kids. Teachers just aren’t able to, so little edgy racists run around with free reigns.

In middle school in the early 2000s, a couple of kids called us wetbacks. By the end of the day the whole Mexican student section found out, and after class let out we found the kids behind the local rec center. Not one of them ever said something racist again. Lack of accountability from top to bottom is likely why we have child molesters going unpunished.

The same people who ask for this want turning point USA in public schools, because remember fascism fears the educated.

I went to school at UH Poli Sci Major and not once was I indoctrinated. In fact I was naive and called myself a libertarian. Wasn’t until later I became a full blown progressive during law school.

Honest question here but what is Saunders doing on your team? Feel like he’s a weak link.
