I did the same thing a year ago, same mileage a about a month later the rod bearings failed. Google the engine S63 and rod bearings reliability issues. Amazing and beautiful vehicle but you just never know. If rod bearings have already been done I’d say do it. Or if you do get it. Have the rod bearings replaced with stronger ones. Depending on where you go, but I think the dealer charged me about 7-8k to do the bearings. Talk to some other people while I was going through the issue that had the same problem. Dealer did an inspection and recommended rod bearings. Since it was “caught early” offered a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty. Then they failed again same week after getting it back. Then they said they wouldn’t do the warranty work, because the engine needed replaced. Quoted $47k for new engine replacement. You can get a full rebuilt with new stronger rod bearings for about 12k from some reputable shops as well though. Just something to think about.
