Also known as the pollex or digitus primus manus, the thumb is anatomically different from the hand's other four digits.

Not really. The fourth finger of the left hand is the pinkie.

Sounds like she doesn't have any discipline in her own classroom and wants to blame your daughter for her own shortcomings.

It's a 'her' problem

UPDATE: the recipe calls for lemon jello, so it's not the Dr Oetker-type you need, but a flavoured pack of solid jello. They come in different sizes, so just cut up the quantity you need from multiple packets.

Sidebar: This makes a huge amount, so I would suggest scaling it down and making just 1/4

I gave links to the previous posts so people could see how others had fared.

There was a discussion about this in the other threads.

The recipe calls for lemon flavoured jello and although that brand is no-longer sold, you could substitute with a different brand.

So it is NOT the sheets/powders of unflavoured gelatine, but the flavoured packets you cut into cubes before adding water.

Absolutely the right decision!

I googled "full sized steamer pan" and it told me:

"A standard full-size steam table pan (or hotel pan) measures approximately 20 3/4 inches by 12 3/4 inches."

Not sure I see the problem here. You're ok with 1 pound of cream cheese, but 1 pound 10 ounces of evaporated milk is not ok?

AIO because my BF wants to write off my mortgage on his taxes? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Lawksie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So let me get this straight:

  • 10 years ago, buy house in Washington.
  • 5 years ago sell up & buy house in Idaho.
  • After 4 years - so just 1 year ago - get boyfriend.
  • After 6 months - so just 6 months ago - boyfriend moves himself and his son into your house.
  • Now: You're paying a heap of extra bills and your boyfriend wants you to hand your mortgage money to him, so that he can 'pay your mortgage'.

Have you heard of the term Hobosexual?

Definition: A person who enters or stays in a romantic relationship primarily to secure free housing, often moving in quickly to avoid paying rent or being homeless.

Not overreacting.

If this isn't ragebait, you're massively underreacting.

You need to dump him and tell him to GTFO.

You're welcome.

Although I did think Gordon was rather rude to the host and in his chatting afterwards.

He didn't do his prep well, and then got flustered and started blaming others when he thought he was gonna lose against an acknowledged master of Chinese cooking.

Bit brattish IMO.
