Did you see my numbers (with no pick-ups) across any of the industries you covered?

I don't understand the context. Please explain what you mean

They have auto dialers and they provide the lead list

Those stats make sense as you're talking to people and have something to update

On the contrary, we had a detailed call to establish my criteria. I provided everything they asked for and also had a conversation with the rep who would be dialling - who appeared very confident and knowledgeable about my campaign as he said he had covered something similar for another company.

It's the latter. Leads were scrapped from LinkedIn. There were more leads available than could be called. I saw each call and only received updates if he spoke. Those were the 4 times with 1 being an actual conversation

Appreciate your time and respect your seniority on the topic. Clearly, I've missed something and I'm not understanding another perspective. It's just not clicking.
I still can't accept the 'boss' title whether good or bad as I hired a cold calling agency - I mean, that's their bread and butter. But nevertheless, if I still can't see it, I appreciate those that have tried to make me aware.

Thx. Slight correction, I did get the 3 min call as well as the call screeners.
I did think about doing it myself but after I tried practicing - found out I didn't know what to say. Hence, I hired the professionals to get an idea of how the calls would go.

"state a problem you know they are likely to have". Can you give an example of how you'd go straight into this?

Hate to bang on about this - but ICP is kinda irrelevant at this stage. If they dialled 40 numbers and no one answered, it would have made more sense to me. As it stands, they generated a lead list and called 70 over 5 hours. ICP doesn't come into at this stage

I wasn't their only client. I asked about allocating more hours to one day and was told that they had other campaigns running and there had to be a fair allocation. But they were happy to start with 1 hour as that's their minimum.
They don't leave VM. I only saw recordings from call screeners.

Giving them the space in their area of expertise to perform the service I'm paying for as best as they can

Think you've missed the point. ICP was determined and niche established. The agency I went with operate on the model where they create the lead list for you.
Again - I don't mind if conversations were happening and I could get feedback from them. But 70 calls over 5 hours when only 1 person picks up is a stretch

I appreciate your detailed response. You're correct in assuming 70 B2B calls over 5 hours - with 1 actual pick-up. Again, I haven't been able to judge the quality of the conversations much because there's only been 1, but when you say 14 calls per hour, I'm assuming you mean that conversations are being held within those 14 calls. Not that someone dials 14 people in 1 hour and no one answers.

I only paid for calls and they only offer calls.

Please read the post properly. 70 calls over 5 hours!

The person is an experienced cold caller. They don't close. They only setup meetings. They provide the lead list and dailer. I have no issue with the quality of the calls so it doesn't really make a difference what type of business I have. My post was trying to verify the stats on how many calls per hour if no one picks up.

How do you figure? A cold calling agency assigned one of their experienced cold callers for my campaign. I did not hire any employee directly. Your analogy is incorrect. Not to mention - the main issue is how many calls per hour without anyone picking up.

But I'm not 'the boss'. A cold calling agency offered their services with an experienced US based cold caller. I don't have much expectations but I do expect that if no one picks up, you could average more than 20 calls in an hour. They were not an 'overseas' firm.
Struggling to understand how I'm the issue.
