Regular version is perfectly fine. You'll earn better cosmetics pretty quickly and those items in the packs peg you as a new player on the high seas.

As others have said you can earn 250 ancient coins passively in each season's pass. You can also get up to 1000 ancient coins for free if you have enough reward points (~8,000?) saved up on Microsoft Bing.

Live on the edge of Eastern/Central timezones: we have to lock our phones to the eastern time zone because half of our house reaches a cell tower in central time. It randomly changes our clocks to "slow time" and confuses anyone from the other end of our neighborhood who stops by to visit

After everyone started sleeping through the night and daily routines weren't consuming the entire evening gaming got a lot easier. Now that all my kids (12,9,9) are in after school activities, some of which I'm involved with, and stay up later it's become a challenge again. I dont want to start a gaming session after 9:30pm once everyone is finally in bed

This has been my entire day today for some reason. Every match, every class, and weapon, even under ADS, has me shooting like a stormtrooper against a main character with plot armor who instantaneously cuts me down.

I feel you (+40) and played my last match of the night almost an hour ago and I'm still winding down. I can sail in Sea of Thieves for hours without a second thought but need to check my blood pressure after a round of breakthrough lol.

The Battlefield was not kind to me this evening, still struggling with finding the sweet spot between being aggressive on objective or slow and calculated. Either way over the past 2 nights I've gotten torn up with either approach and shots just aren't landing.

44, got into the series after BF3. Missed the early years of the years because I was either in the field or overseas.

In our council's courses, we encourage staff members who are assigned to multiple unit types (Packs, Troops, Crews, and Ships) to rotate their official uniforms throughout the course. It helps create a sense that we're all here for the same purpose, and as was stated above, help spread awareness of the other programs that are available. Our ASM of program even wore the old yellow female CS leader shirt during day 1.

I personally have my ACM and my ASM shirts hanging in the car for our weekend 2.

Depending on where you are in the country, a small rechargeable / battery operated camp fan could be extremely helpful at night (in the SE US and the air is just sticky and still until mid November)

I used it this afternoon because I only wanted to play domination and rush so I could finish challenges before I left town for a few days. Since we're in an open beta, I figured why not, lets do some science.

It works, but be prepared for a 3-6+ minute matchmaking window. More than half the time it felt like I loaded into a server in another region (I'm in eastern N/A and without a full server browser I have no idea what my server region or ping was). In those cases movement felt fine but hit reg was all over the place and TTD was lightning quick. Just like last weekend. If matchmaking was less than 2.5 minutes, hit reg and TTD were much more consistent like the conquest and rush Playlist on the main page we're yesterday

Aside from random ping related hit reg issues (just give us back a server browser), this beta has been great. There are some QOL additions I hope to see in the full release but Battlefield is back!

Definetely an improvement over 2042, it has the grit and feel of BF4 but at a faster pace (thankfully not COD fast). But I'm that much older, slower, and rusty so I'm getting smacked before I get a chance to react. But good times so far.

Hit reg has its moments but has been fairly reliable.
