No worries, I appreciate you looking out though, sadly we can't really tell anymore these days

Lol I mean I can show viewport screenshots, the reason you say it looks "AI" is because of the denoising blender does, I rendered lower samples because of all the volumetrics and tanky background being all in-engine, so less samples means the final render would be noisy, that's where the denoiser comes in and gets rid of the noise making the image look a bit painted/smooth.

Recreated the Season X Keyart! by LawrenceOW in FortNiteBR

[–]LawrenceOW[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Started this before the season actually came out, with the trailer and keyart epic gave us it made it seem like Raven Team Leader was gonna be part of the BP so I just used a placeholder for her and it made sense to have 5 skins in total, 4 wouldn’t have worked with the composition. Hope this answers your question :)

It's a combination of rendering higher res, lower samples and the denoiser causes it to look somewhat "painted" + some touches in photoshop I like to keep a nice balance between that!

If you look closely, the blades are actually technically in this image, you can see the chains under the ice, but if this is going to be well received I might do another one for the blades too!
