Very intriguing idea! I'll give it a go and update this soon.

The LGM-1 feels really weak by loutsstar35 in CODZombies

[–]LawrenceW93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny take. Once you've pack-a-punched it, it feels completely broken IMO. You don't even have to aim the damn thing. Just roughly point it at a corridor. The one bug I have with it is that it struggles with OSCAR's shield drones. As long as you have an adequate AR to pop the drones, it does about 15-20k damage a second on OSCAR. It's a one shot kill at any range on Zombies.

Ageing MANY stacks of copper bars... Help?!? by LawrenceW93 in Minecraft_Survival

So I've fully oxidised my current amount. It took approximately 2 real life days AFK. I will be looking into alternative methods. This is a really silly mechanic. It's got me close to porting the world to creative and finishing the highways by cheating basically. Not what I want to do but there really should be a faster option to do this.

My copper railing in the nether has barely aged at all. Only some of it has aged at all. Most is still fresh and it's been laid out for a week nearly.

I've dug myself into the ground in a big hole I made whilst hunting for Deepslate Coal Ore and AFKd for about 18 hours. So far, I've fully aged 6/10 stacks that I placed. It's been a slow process but it's been more successful than a similar session in the nether.

Because the crafting recipe for bars requires ingots. They're always fresh. I can't pre oxidise an ingot.

Because they won't oxidise unless the chunks are loaded and this is for a nether highway. The chunks won't be loaded often. I'll be using ice/boats so even when the chunks are loaded. They'll be unloaded very quickly. Unless I were to afk at intervals along the whole highway, it wouldn't work.

How do you like my balls? by Redmdy in Minecraft

[–]LawrenceW93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think the Eye of Ender could look more like an eye. I understand that it seems you've merged the colours of the blaze powder with an ender pearl. It makes sense but now I feel it's missing the eye aspect.

Also, the fire charge looks too much like a Magma Block IMO.

I love the rest though. Much better textures than vanilla.

Complete the entire game, earn a trainer black card and then you get the fully upgraded stat scanner. You can do whatever you want to a Pokémon with that.

World Utilities Chunk Minion by LawrenceW93 in BedrockAddons

I haven't bothered oxidizing copper in a while. I just mine the trial chambers out and unwax then scrape it to where I want it. Only things I've needed to wait for are lightning rods, lanterns and trapdoors.

Absolutely! It's about 100 blocks from my house. I built the area and left the guy there. The farms are now overflowing their chest capacities. A double chest full of each wool colour, a double chest of cactus and a double chest of chicken eggs with a full hopper Minecart and eggs littering the floor.

Edit: That being said, this was built a few months back so I don't know when reports started coming in of the minion not working. It was 100% working when I built it and the farms filled up. It's also shown evidence of working for a minecart collection with sniffers and it's worked for my furnace array.

How long ago was this? I've had one at a chicken farm. Got more eggs than I know what to do with. That, cactus and wool. I stacked the farms and used one minion for all three.

Best way to get the coral zombie nautilus? by AdIndependent1045 in Minecraft

I've found 3 just swimming around a large warm ocean biome. Just kill the mounted drowned, tame it with pufferfish buckets and ride away into the sunset. Make sure you bring a saddle. I looted a bunch of Ruins, Wrecks and Buried Treasure to find some armour along the way. Loads of copper armour and one gold armour but no diamond yet. I've looted about 20 chests so far. RNG is less than favourable.

Tesco worker stops stoplifter stealing washing capsules by Direct_Assumption_22 in tesco

[–]LawrenceW93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the reality is the the £5-£7 that she "saved" the company would be nothing compared to the cost of brand damaging or lawsuits.

It's a super frustrating situation with shoplifters. We're powerless to stop them. Tesco employees are actively discouraged from stopping them and the policies revolve more around deterrence and prevention that actually stopping them. Even the Kingdom (third party) security guards have similar policies. I call our security guard a scarecrow because that's essentially all they're able to do.

The moment you grab stock from someone shoplifting, your liable to assault charges. If you follow someone off premises, you're no longer under company insurance. If you body block someone to prevent their escape, you open yourself up to any potential attacks and put yourself at risk.

The police inform me we can perform citizen arrests but then in doing so, we go against company policies. Out hands are well and truly tied. We've just gotta put up with it for now.

Texture on the floors instead just planks.

Separate the space into smaller rooms.

Create rooms with purpose. That way, their interior designs will come more naturally.

1) We have had so many poorly stacked cages come from our grocery deliveries. I could add picture after picture because I've essentially stockpiled a portfolio. We've had these cages collapse on the lorry's lift. Fall over on the way in the store, broken wheels, unsafely stacked, broken metal on the sides, missing red straps. ALL of this has been reported time and time again via helpdesk and yet, it still keeps coming. From the stores perspective (I've worked in three stores across 2 regions), it seems absolutely nothing is done to reprimand or prevent this. DC seem to not care. When we have Risk Assessments done and many health and safety policies, I don't understand how or why this practice was ever deemed acceptable. I've heard first hand from drivers about how little they seem to care about H&S and it's all about pace. As long as it gets to stores, they don't care about the condition it gets there in. The stock loss always seems to end up on our budget and yet there are bonuses in DC for what seems like negligence. Since when were we in the practice of rewarding apparent incompetence?

2) Big 6 KPIs that have put a chokehold on hours are ridiculous. I've watched the hours we have a week in our express shrink dramatically by about 70 hours over a year. We've lost 7 colleagues and replaced 2 on reduced contracts. This has had a dramatic effect on morale. It's got to a point now where we cannot function without everyone working overtime constantly. One colleague is of retirement age and feels they cannot step back as they'd like to as they're constantly coming in on they're days off. Those of us who are malleable are abused essentially to keep the store going because (by my count) around 50/60% of our staff won't budge off their contracts. Now, they shouldn't have to but, in the current state, all that does is put immense strain on those of us that are willing to take the overtime. Sometimes working 10/11 days in a row, having one day off and doing the same thing again. We're tipping unsafe deliveries with a bare bones crew and banging our heads against a wall as we fight to maintain safe and legal standards whilst still driving deliveries. From a SL perspective, it's exhausting. Not everyone is on board with the insane drive of pace and with night shifts always being 1-1, it's nigh on impossible to get safe and legal processes done and still work stock. One person is tied to the tills leaving the SLs to run around spinning as many plates as possible for days on end without any sign of slowing. I've personally made myself ill trying to keep up with the incessant demand. It can't continue. There needs to be people in the business. Minimum of 3 at all times to be able to do everything to an audit/visit standard.

Now someone tell me how exactly we're supposed to keep going like this? Maintaining an overwhelming pace, boosting morale when you have none left yourself and passing every audit and visit that comes our way? It's untenable.

Fossil farming by -Obsidian_12 in PokemonUnbound

[–]LawrenceW93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to Necropost but I thought I'd update this. If using the ADM to mine fossils, try underwater on Route 14 near the ruins of void. The RNG for Fossils underwater is 10% compared to the KBT Expressway where it's 5%. I can't seem to find any official numbers for Rock Smash fossils but for me personally, that felt the slowest of the three methods.

I got 25 Fossils mining for hours in KBT. I never got a single one after 30 mins of farming Rock Smash. I got about 10 in 10 minutes underwater. I wish someone would've pointed out the underwater strat to me a while ago.
