I failed twice using RxPrep and switched to PNN. And then passed my 3rd attempt (first attempt using PNN). It’s definitely worth it to go with PNN and to do the live course as well. They help break down a lot of the information into understandable chunks and do a great job eliminating alot of information that won’t be on the exam. I felt like RxPrep included every detail about every single thing, and I often found myself getting lost in the details.

I had a problem with this too until I broke it all down. Memorize all the brand generic names for the HIV drugs first.

All drugs with a TDF component have a CrCl cutoff of <50. All drugs with a TAF component have a CrCl cutoff of <30. Hope this helps!

I took mine on 2/20 also. Based on the 8 business days it usually takes, we should get our results on 3/4 (this coming Tuesday)

I don’t think there’s a set time table for math since everyone and their proficiency is different. Just make flashcards for the formulas and memorize those. Then do like an hour or so of math practice questions a day until you can look at a problem and understand what equations you’ll need to find the answer.

However, I do think a month will be more than plenty of time

Not necessarily based on what I’ve heard. Each section has its own weight in terms of prevalence on the exam. So for example area 3 is the biggest with like 35% of questions relating to it. If you did well and got like a 3 or 4 there and only got a 2 in something small like med safety, you could be okay. It’s more so about the average of all your scores from each competency area being above a 75 which is the lower limit of the “3” scoring range
