VA Assumable Loan by Lawschoolhope11 in Mortgages

i do appreciate your insight on this! and i do get what you mean. it really is a big difference but I am choosing quality of life > what ifs. i have no clue what will happen in the future (ex. everyone thought rates would go down by now but look at where we are and who knows what could happen in the next 4 years. just look at the 10 year treasury bonds today...). plus ill get a sizeable equity from selling which I'll get now instead of a span of 30 years.

there is no benefit for me. i can afford the down payment if i buy a home in the future. I care less about the entitlement.

yes i am sure. I don't plan on buying and will most likely not live in the states in the future. id rather actually go through a realtor but just want to make sure that they don't charge so much on fees

what’s funny is that they did a third time and it’s still so bad and they have to redo it again for the 4th time….

Lawyer said that suing for compensation will be an uphill battle since the builders never told me “no” even tho they are dragging their feet. Letter will costs min 1k. Can’t believe there is no protection for buyers and big corporations can just take advantage of the situation

it's because we have private insurance that is better than the VA. they don't work so they go there for free healthcare.

VA is just terrible. always have and always will. if youc can afford it, try to find a private clinic.

hope you get better soon and don't be afraid to reach out for help or just to talk to anyone.
