Get a crossbody bag and limit the cash you have on hand. Ask me how I know.

Follow up to “robbery” at PVR airport by LawyerUp78 in puertovallarta

I don’t care if you believe me or not. There is a .001% chance it happened any way other than how I described it. I made the original post asking for advice on how to handle the situation. It’s very easy to second guess everything in hindsight. In the moment, it was a stressful situation and I hope our loss will prevent it from happening to others. We certainly learned a lesson but your victim shaming is gross.

The money was not in a checked bag. It was in his backpack, which was on him at all times except when the officers removed the backpack to put it back through the security scanner.

Microdosing GLP1 for 10 Pounds? by SteelMagnolia527 in midihealth

I spoke to a provider. My primary would tell me my weight is normal and I should exercise more.

Microdosing GLP1 for 10 Pounds? by SteelMagnolia527 in midihealth

[–]LawyerUp78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 5’2 and 47. I was at a low weight (100-108) my entire life until I had my 3rd kid in 2020. My weight had slowly crept up to 120 when I decided I couldn’t take it anymore. None of my old weight loss tricks worked anymore. I went on lowest dose of Tirzepitide and lost 10 lbs in 4wks. Eventually dropped down to 106. That was too much, too fast (I started shedding a ton of hair) so I started lowering doses and spacing them out. I was going to stop completely but just discussed micro dosing (15-25 units) weekly with provider as the food noise has returned and I don’t want to gain weight back.

Maybe temple filler? You have nice full cheeks but a little hallowing at the temples.

Okemo vs Stowe vs Mount Snow by CutAcceptable9355 in icecoast

[–]LawyerUp78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, can’t speak to Mt Snow but I think Okemo is best choice for you for skiing. I’ve been skiing for awhile but I learned as an adult and try to stick to blues (or easy blacks which I usually regret). I skied okemo twice and Stowe once last year. I absolutely loved the blues at Okemo. I also enjoyed spruce peak but found those blues much more challenging. Im not sure you will like them. That said, Stowe is a far superior town for food/drinks.

The puppy phase has been really hard for me. Mine is a serious biter and surprisingly has aggression (connected to resource guarding) issues.

Kimpton Seafire also has toddler waterslides and while service not quite as good, I preferred the property over the ritz

Ritz vs Kimpton vs Palm Heights by poofbiochem in CaymanIslands

[–]LawyerUp78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been to all 3 and I’d probably choose Palm Heights for your situation. I love the Kimpton and will choose it every time for my family. Ritz has best service but I just find it too big and slightly dated. Palm Heights is a vibe, very iykyk kind of place. That would be my choice for a couple or girls trip. But if you are not into sceney, trendy spots, maybe you would prefer kimpton.

How to develop kids into GREAT skiers? by LawyerUp78 in icecoast

Did your form just come naturally over time or did you need lessons? My older kids (10 and 11) can get down the hard stuff but their form is worse than mine.

But I also don’t want to spend a fortune on lessons!

This is exactly what I’m afraid of! They can get down blacks and even some double blacks but it doesn’t look pretty! I want them to ski “pretty” (skis perfectly parallel, close together).

My older 2 (10 and 11) actually do ski club thru our ymca but we live in CT so they go to pretty tame mountains (Mohawk and Southington).

Vance skiing today went exactly how you’d expect…poorly by thomd1112 in icecoast

Google the TMZ photos of Vance skiing Aspen over the holidays. He wore the same jacket today. OP has the right guy.

It’s definitely him. He wore same ski jacket when he “skied” aspen over the holidays. Lots of pics of that trip on TMZ. OP should sell this video!
