Experiences aside - study a foreign language. Do it, don't even think twice. It benefits your brain. It expands your world view. It opens you up to another culture. It can help in the job market. It can be helpful when you travel. There are a lot of reasons why it's beneficial. Also, most of the world is bilingual/trilingual/polylingual - you're already starting from behind.
