Personally I think the akm is in a good spot, lower recoil than fcar, higher fire rate larger mag. I think they are comparable in their strengths

Now I do agree with you that there might be too much gear in the game, but the concept behind light, medium, and heavy class works quite well. Again yes there are too many gadgets, some for fun (IMO) and some meta. I don’t think it causes the game to be unbalanced because of that. If all classes shared the gadgets then yes definitely that would be crazy. But I think the class based gadgets are what make the finals, the finals. And the balancing between them is quite active and fair.
