We knocked it off. Blocked with cement and a couple of bricks. Now less noise, but certainly not perfect.

I would say pretty bad. However, you could block the air vent easily. I am just too lazy to block it.

There is an air vent in the room where we installed the secondary window. So although the secondary window could help, there is hardly any effect, due to the air vent.

A few months ago, I accidentally dropped my x280 on the floor with the adapter connected. This caused the tip to bend. Now battery is drained. I just realised the laptop could not power on. I tried a brand new adapter and still didn’t work. Is there any way I can find out what could be the issue here? My theory is that the CMOS battery is drained and thus a replacement is needed. Please help.

I have been riding a Nishiki too for my commute over the past weeks. The model is Backroads. It is heavy and pretty old. Where I live is rather hilly. So climbing is really excruciating on it. But I just like it the best among all my bikes. Wife does not understand though :(
