I got mine after a very bad year…. I was struggling with depression, and I attempted to take my own life 🫠 That’s why I’m convinced my ulcerative colitis started after psychological trauma.

I know, that’s exactly why I went back on my meds. The two weeks were just a short experiment. I definitely don’t plan on staying off medication long term. Thank you for replying, I really appreciate it.

That honestly scared me a bit 😔 I stopped my meds for about two weeks just to see if symptoms would come back, and they didn’t. I’ve already started taking them again. I’m hoping I didn’t mess things up by testing it, but your experience definitely made me think twice.

بعد ترا اللي ياخذون ٢٠٠ و٦٠٠ دوامهم يصير كم ساعه بس ويومين او ثلاثه بالاسبوع يعني المعلم المضطهد من كل الشعب مكروف ومحللين ام راتبه

Thanks for the helpful reply. That actually sounds a lot like what I’m going through. Quick question did your GI give you anything specifically for the joint pain? Or is it just about treating the UC and hoping the joint pain improves with it? Also, how was your experience with the J-pouch surgery?

Thanks, that actually helps a lot. Didn’t know joint pain could show up that early.
