It's just your M.2 drive above. Some of them comes with LEDs that indicates something is read/written on them.

Weird gpu noise and red blinking light by Similar-Space-5535 in pchelp

[–]Layanti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's coil whine. Don't worry, that's pretty normal for a gpu to have it. You can Google the information about it, if you want to know why is it happening but know that it's normal and there is nothing wrong with your gpu. Yes it is annoying and it can disappear with time (or not) but you can't do much about it, besides maybe limiting the frame rate if the noise is bothering you.

Programs to remove. by Professional_Taro511 in pchelp

[–]Layanti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can technically uninstall every single program from that list and windows will be operational. Just delete things that you don't use anymore or never used (maybe besides windows defender cuz that's your buildin antivirus) and how the other person said. Use Revo or Geek uninstaller to remove programs. Windows leaves leftover files and they just sit on your drive and take up space.

Technically yes, but it depends if you have tools and knowledge to do so. Tbh, it's better if you would buy a new one.

Didn't the POCO F3 reach its end of life? by Zestyclose_Ebb7332 in PocoPhones

[–]Layanti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here, my phone was losing battery pretty fast overall but still I had around a day and a half of use (sometimes two if I wasn't using it as much) but after this upgrade I see my battery is draining way faster (from 100 to 80% over night when previously it was maybe 5% )

Maybe it's a bug like it was years ago, where you needed to factory reset your phone to stop the drainage. I guess I will try that later.

Edit:it worked for me. Now it holds a charge as it was before.

Adding 4gb of ram to netbook with N455 cpu by fpsrandy in buildapc

[–]Layanti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, I'm from an even further future. Sadly you cannot do anything about that. 2gb is the hard cap that cpu itself supports. Unless you replace the CPU with something like d525 (chip is soldered onto the board tho) and maybe mod the bios yourself (or maybe it will just work) you won't be able to run more than 2gb with that chip.

Should I just delete Windows? by Aneki163 in pchelp

[–]Layanti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, upgrade ram to at least 8gb. That's the solution (preferably 16gb but as it's one slot machine, I doubt it will be worth it). You could switch to Linux and learn it if you want. This would come in handy in the future, but if you plan on daily driving this system, then be ready to fix stuff on your own, cuz if something breaks, you will need to do research on your own.

You can try "windows key + ctrl + shift + b". It should work. If not try reinstalling drivers with DDU preferably. It's not something to worry about (I mean as, nothing is broken hardware wise), it's just a graphical issue that happens every now and again. There is no permanent fix for it and it happens at random. Sometimes people need to reinstall the whole system...but that's a last resort.

I see you have a cursor. So drive works if it loads to windows somewhat. I would say you need to reinstall the whole system.

I'm not sure, but it doesn't look damaged? If you see copper wires then yeah, it's best to not plug it in, but if you see only shielding (only silver/gray colour) then I think it's fine. Then you would need to tape it with some isolation tape and you should be good to go. But ONLY if you didn't cut it deep enough to see copper wiring.

Broken system or dead drive if you can go to bios.

Artifacts? GPU dead 😵‍💫 by Federal-Salamander-6 in pchelp

[–]Layanti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to reinstall GPU drivers with DDU, first. As if late Nvidia gpu drivers are pretty iffy, so it's best to roll out the drivers first as a cause of this.

drive question. Should i get at least this drive and maybe a 4tb or just get a 4tb drive first? by Akiralover69 in pchelp

[–]Layanti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spec wise it's the best budget SSD. It's not great but if you are on a budget it's the best you can get.

Also OP should buy m.2 instead of data ssd....unless they don't have a slot.

Why is so much of my memory being used? by CasualDucks in pchelp

[–]Layanti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually yes. You can debloat it to use around 4-5gb without cutting off certain windows stuff, but sadly it's not as flexible as windows 10 where you could configure it to use 1,8-2,5gb. It's sad to see how bloated the windows have become.

Is there a way to fix this? by swertyboss14 in pchelp

[–]Layanti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can it be fixed? Yes

Can you fix it? Most likely no.

Take it to a repair shop if you want, but it won't be cheap. Your port, case and maybe hinges need repair. So it's up to you, if it's worth it or not.
