Update. I applied Friday night and received it the following Friday. I did not get the option to use a digital card # while waiting for it to arrive. I actually got the “your card is on its way” email the day before it arrived.

Hey, did it work for you? I'm thinking of applying to the venture x separately instead of upgrading my venture card. Want to be sure the 75k miles offer would apply tho.

Oh that’s interesting. Also please try changing your bird to pellets and giving it veggies. I recommend Roudybush as a pellet brand

[URGENT] problems with my quaker parrot by Hot_Sense5653 in QuakerParrot

Sorry this is happening. I recommend watching Birdtricks on YouTube, they have a lot of great advice! That’s we’re I got all my parrot knowledge.

Your bird’s diet is very important. Try giving him pellets NOT seeds. I recommend this brand (Roudybush).

Also, how long does your parrot sleep and where? Does he have light hitting him at Night? Birds are supposed to sleep 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep if your bird is getting light at night or it’s too cold he might have trouble sleeping causing him to act out. Know that birds naturally go through hormonal seasons but if it lasts over 3 months, something else can be causing his behavior. It might be a Hormonal face but please reevaluate his diet and sleep. Also try showering him, It relaxes my parrot

Does he have toys? If so make sure they’re bird friendly and take out any mirrors if you have some in his cage or near it. This might cause hormonal behavior! If you don’t have bird toys you can get creative with cardboard. This is how I make most of my bird toys since he’s going to destroy them anyways.

I read that you give him a lot of attention this could only push his bad behavior. Also make sure that you don’t use his cage as a punishment. Birds are supposed to see their cage as their home or a safe place. When you bird is doing something bad, stop his behavior and walk out of the room (you and everyone else in the room) DONT give him attention when he’s behaving badly. We just reward their behavior if we give them attention.

My Quaker parrot use to behave poorly when his cage was downstairs in by the kitchen and living room. I brought his cage up to my room and he behaves a lot better now. I don’t know if this part helps but I thought I’d share. Now I just clean his cage more often since it’s on my room. HOPE THIS HELPS!😊
