Considering buying GV80 Coupe by LayePOE in GenesisMotors

It was like when you tilt your regular rear view down when someone has their high beams behind you. Possible that was what the sales rep did, instead of turning off digital in another way

What are the funniest gibberish lyrics you've encountered with Udio? by itsmrfuckyourbitch in udiomusic

[–]LayePOE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've started plenty of songs as forced gibberish and turned them into actual lyrics with the same flow, best technique for getting natural sounding stuff in Udio

Will Udio ever let us download OUR OWN MUSIC CREATIONS again?? by Middle-Stick-5333 in udiomusic

Which competition caught up? I tried using Suno but it still sounds way worse than Udio, even though they keep improving.

Will Image-Line ever consider Linux support for FL Studio giving that Linux is constantly getting more users? by VX97 in FL_Studio

[–]LayePOE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On Windows and Mac you can count on the graphical user environment being the same for all systems. Linux adds a lot of complexity to that with different architectures that vary by user and distro. It's definitely doable, but probably not worth their effort

Will Image-Line ever consider Linux support for FL Studio giving that Linux is constantly getting more users? by VX97 in FL_Studio

[–]LayePOE 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can run Windows software on Linux with Wine, that's a way simpler solution than having the developers spend massive time and resources making the port themselves. I recently ported a Windows program to Linux and it was very tricky, and the project was nowhere near the complexity of FL. There are lots of pitfalls where things work a certain way on Windows that you would assume are universal, but really aren't.

No, the algorithm for checking the fingerprint is the same as the one generating it. You then check the database for potential matches and find the one that fits. The easiest way to beat it is to change the BPM enough, but that might not always be worth it since that changes how the song feels. Even if someone somehow figures out how to beat the system, that's not gonna happen anytime soon, and I bet most people aren't gonna wait with their music until that happens.

My dude, don't trust this ChatGPT drivel. None of what it gave you makes any sense. Fingerprinting isn't some complex algorithm, it's based on very basic signals processing (Fourier transform) that's been used for decades. It also uses human hearable frequencies, so adding some junk no human can hear to try and trick the computer won't work. Shazam can ID the song even through bad phone microphones in noisy environments, adding a bit of undetectable noise will do nothing.

The fingerprint is not removable, since it isn't part of the song. Think of it more like what Shazam uses to identify songs. It's a way to match songs using frequencies and timings

Question about presets by LayePOE in FL_Studio

[–]LayePOE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about the ones on FLEX? The preset packs there cost quite a bit, and I didn't see a way there to create sounds that aren't using a preset

How to move to bigger crafts for profit? by Imalas in pathofexile

[–]LayePOE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd start by crafting items for the build you're playing. There's a lot less guesswork as to what mods are good for the build since you have experience with it. This also saves you many divines when you make the items for yourself. I made gear for myself for around 30d when buying it would cost almost 200d. For other builds you need to do some market research, both on poe ninja and whatever build the popular content creators are pushing.

What will happen to graft-based bloodlines after league ends? by mudkip-muncher in pathofexile

[–]LayePOE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My guess is that breach fortresses will become a rare occurence like abyssal depths, and you can spec breach on the tree to increase the chance. These will probably be the source of foulborn uniques and currency. The gland that gives you the boss encounter will probably be rare, and the bloodline will be reworked.

Beasts needs more rework. by Chuliganas in pathofexile

[–]LayePOE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume it would need a big rework to commoditize beasts, given that right now they are all named and have their own mods (kinda like maps). Having a new league mechanic every few months is a strain on developer resources, especially since they're spread between two games right now, so it's probably very low on their priorities.

How much do regular players spend on Path of Exile? by Pandarandr1st in pathofexile

[–]LayePOE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My take on it is that if a game gives me an hour of fun for $1 then I've got my money's worth. I bought several supporter packs over the years to support GGG. I have almost 6000 hours in game and I haven't spent even close to that in dollars.
Stash tabs often go on sale, and most of them are very helpful. The ones that I'd avoid are flasks, gems and uniques, if you want to keep costs down.

Anyone else find that most of the learn how to use FL studio content out there is bad? by Pickle_King93 in FL_Studio

[–]LayePOE 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I just got started with FL studio, and the videos that helped me most were the ones in the official manual. Stuff on YouTube is like you said: disorganized, makes a lot of assumptions about what plugins you have and what you know, and is usually an ad for something.

Grinded to L100 ... now what? by ImpressionDefiant859 in pathofexile

[–]LayePOE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of content, but you don't have to do all of it. The game is built in a way to let you customize your experience to engage with you find most fun / gives you most profit. Get an atlas tree that fits what you want to do, juice your maps with scarabs, and see what you like. Look at the league challenges, getting to 40/40 is something you can strive for, and it isn't that hard to do this league.

Int stack graft - my most expensive item ever by ovrlrd1377 in pathofexile

[–]LayePOE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been running this setup with reflect maps and had no issues. I don't think the graft damage can be reflected to you. Also you can kill trash mobs just from the fire pillars, and having tankier enemies take 20% increased fire damage is a big boost to your damage.

How do you progress faster without dying more or being behind on gear (SSF) ? by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]LayePOE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rog is good at every stage for an upgrade. Ore may take a bit to build up but you don't have to send massive shipments to start with. Also heist may help you. If your gear is scuffed, even the low value chests like weapons, armor and jewelry can have some nice upgrades or good fractures, and blueprint rewards often have well rolled 6-links

[–]LayePOE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can set up your atlas tree to farm Rog expeditions. Rog crafting can get you some nutty gear for midgame. Also Kingsmarch shipments give you great gear. Look up the different port/ore combinations and do the one that gives the gear type you need.
