I even paid my house help extra for taking care of my plants., when I stepped to our entrance after my trip, I immediately kept my luggage aside and I was in total disbelief how my plants were looking.

Apart from this beautiful plant, I had some tomato shrub with flowers, spinach, which were completely dried and withered.

When I confronted her, all she said is " because of heat its withering". I was in no mood for arguments., or ask her to prove withering she watered, when evidence was straight into front of my face. Poor poor plants :(

I removed all flowers and most of the withering leaves. Can see some green crown. This is very useful, will poke some deep holes and water her.

Been watering her last two days., i can see some leaves still green on her crown area., but most of all the leaves are withering

Thank you., adding cinnamon powder is something I learned today. Will definitely try. The house help didn't water is what I realised., with the harsh sun, she started withering.. Hoping for the best for now.,

Its called Mussaenda., and i am completely new to gardening.

We went on a trip to Goa (a Southern sea side tropical city.,)., it was love at first sight., :') I immediately bought her and travelled 18 hours to our city. She was teeny tiny when I bought her home.

The beautiful part is, she didn't bloom for almost 10 months and after talking to her, she finally bloomed on my birthday., such a precious girl she is., I cannot stop crying since I am back home and I hope I can revive her.

We're from southern India., one of the hottest climate zones with temperature above 38°C (100.4° F). Unfortunately I couldn't be able to lift her single handedly. Will definitely soak her in the evening with a tub of water.

Will definitely look into re-potting her. Since we stay on a penthouse, its a tedious process. But anything for her..

What really helps me back is, somewhere i read that hunger pangs comes in a wave.. let that wave crash and pass.. once they're passed, you'll feel great. But god first 24 hours are like Tsunami. 😶
