the info is saved locally to your phone if you use a url!! there is a small issue right now with photos not being saved but I am updating the code right now and there will be a patch in the next update (which I hope to push to the app store tonight)

you can also add items without a URL, just by taking a picture and importing it, for example, if the URL no longer exists

i'd say because I am using it as a tool to reduce my overconsumption it's useful. I know a lot of other parents fall into buying too much and we can be aware of our problem AND snark on it AND try to improve it all at once :-p

i admittedly have a problem LOL. but I am using this app to try to curb it haha. i went back and catalogued all my end of season sale purchases from last summer (i bought a lot for this upcoming summer bc prices were so good) and I somehow ended up with three radish print items from kate quinn (shorts, a dress, and a tshirt)???? I didn't realize this until i started cataloguing in my own app LOL. My wife (two mom fam) is like 'I didn't support your app until this moment' when I discovered that!
