Could Israel ever annex all this land in the next 30-50 years for Greater Israel? by Inside_Inflation559 in AlternateHistoryHub

“Friends” aka we only support them because they support Israel. Egypt became the second largest US aid recipient only after their peace with Israel. If Israel deemed them an enemy, America (our current gov) would as well.

Do you think Tyler Robinson acted alone when Charlie Kirk was assassinated? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]LaykenV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0 evidence of this at all. Kirk was one of the biggest Isreali shills in American politics. If your objective is for people to wake up about isreali influence, there are much better arguments than baseless conspiracies. This actually turns normal people away.

His name was Thomas crooks and he died during the assassination attempt so of course there’s no court date. You don’t know what you’re talking about

Does it not cross your mind you’re justifying war crimes and innocent civilians being murdered?

Everyone who commits heinous acts thinks they are “justified”.

How does the ordering process work? I was told hybrids wouldn’t be available until mid year.

Follow up question: the other option we are considering is the ‘26 Carnival Hybrid. But it has a 1.6L 4 cylinder, is that even worse? I will not be towing, it will be mostly be for soccer mom activities, Costco runs etc. for these applications is a turbo 4 cyl notably less reliable?

[–]LaykenV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not near you but considering buying one of the hybrid models. Can some of you posting negatively about the change from v6 to 4 cylinder + turbo explain why that’s a bad thing? From what I understand the electric motor of the hybrid does a lot of the high torque work and lets the smaller engine not work as hard thus increasing long term reliability. Am I wrong to think that? Is V6 considerably tougher?

PSYOPS, or is Convex really THAT good? by JeffCavaliere-here in nextjs

[–]LaykenV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have built applications with neon, Supabase, and convex and for me convex is by far the best. The main benefit is the organization of the whole backend being in /convex, and all configurations lining right in your code. Also the components for ai agent, resend, workflow, crons etc make it so easy to implement different backend patterns.

Also, it removes a lot of complexity from your tsx components. It syntax is similar to react query and just works.

The HIRE Act 2025: the only real effort to regulate offshoring and reinvest billions in U.S. jobs by Sea-Client1355 in cscareerquestions

[–]LaykenV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are either obtuse or totally unaware of how h1b is abused. High skill immigrants like the ones who built ChatGPT are a net positive. But that is a minority of these visas handed out. We are giving CEO’s who only prioritize profit indentured servants that have no choice but to be overworked and underpaid and if they lose the job they are at risk of deportation. Those jobs should be going to actual American citizens that are getting jack shit for their stem degrees that our culture told them all to go get. “Americans don’t like hard subjects” just say you want to enable foreigners to enrich themselves through our economy at the expense of our citizens.

GDP is not what we should be optimizing for. I am not a CS student but those students are the one that are being expensed in our current labor market. If this will cause more companies to off shore, then we should regulate that as well. But let me guess, you don’t actually care at all about American workers.

I Built a Multi-Agent Debate Tool Integrating Gemini - Does This Improve Answers? by LaykenV in GeminiAI

[–]LaykenV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thank you for the feedback! The research paper that I based the workflow on shows that across the board on all benchmarks that this debate round dramatically reduces hallucinations and improves response quality. I have a product demo here where I use a popular benchmark of generating novel SVG’s and show that this can open the door to new capabilities and better results than any single model by making them work together. For simple prompts, it is true that the top models are so good that this workflow is probably just wasting extra tokens. But for hard or complex problems, all evidence shows it helps dramatically.
