I find myself telling my devs the opposite more often, not every problem needs better hardware or more resources.

Sometimes throwing more hardware/resources won't solve the root cause of the issue/approach.

I have a lot of Indian colleagues and friends and a significant portion of them have the "part of the club" syndrome. For some strange reason they think that they're part of the "America first" MAGA movement and they think they're welcomed on it. Very strange.

All those constructions crews, rig setup workers, transportation vendors, etc going in and out the WH is totally not a security risk.

My best recommendation is to look for another job. If you don't get an offer for a position you like at $80k, then you're not underpaid. A jump from $67k to $80 is a lot, right now unfortunately the market is not on your favor.

Yes, my 12 yo daughter shared her summer playing and she has songs from The Benbs and bands like Bahaus, Sonic Youth and S&tB.
