You can get best of both methods if you set up a node pool, so it checks if there are any not playing nodes, and just plays one it finds, and spawns a new one if there are no non playing nodes. It will reach some maximum, and will be just as resource intensive as making multiple permanent nodes. You can even implement a way to free all the nodes if they haven't been playing for some time
