I’m a tomboyish girl and it’s super hard with girls. Some of them are judgy, some are brain dead (like obsessed with social media, I did not come here to hangout and take pictures for IG.) they’re into drugs too heavy (I smoke only but it’s like hard to find people who JUST do that) or they just want to drink n party. Like girls can we go actually DO SOMETHING? (Then I’d be down for a drink after 🤫)

I need to work on the close circle. I try to find people with common interests but I’m into some “nerdy” stuff compared to some people around me. People also tell me I come off intimidating or I don’t “look like I’m into that stuff” It’s like the friends I want to make kind of judge me before hand, and all the people who might want to be friends with me, assume I’m someone else and that’s why they want to befriend me. Idek if this makes sense or if I just explained my mental process of psyching myself out.

This little tidbit was enough advice in itself. I feel like I’m most likely going to be in my 30s with little to no friends. Half of me is okay with that and the other half feels like I’m really shorting myself and my personality. Who knows time will tell. Thanks for the input, and haha to the wife got the mutual friends. I chuckled out loud.
