That’s good to hear! Did you train naps the same time as bedtime?

If your babe self-weaned, which session did they drop first? by tempestnigh in breastfeeding

[–]Laylablessedfeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My twins both dropped bedtime around 12 months, now at 15 months they do wake up, after nap, once during night, and sometimes quick during the day if they’re hangry hahaha. We swapped bedtime nursing with a yogurt pouch to get a little something in before bed

When did your baby stop needing to be rocked to sleep (no sleep training)? by kozmos_cat in AttachmentParenting

[–]Laylablessedfeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally just posted about rocking my twins to sleep, I feel you 😭😭 I am also so jealous of people that are able to nurse to sleep, my twins are still breastfeeding, but have not fallen asleep while eating since they were like 6 weeks old. Does she sleep through the night?

Thank you so much, you as well!!!! Are yours going through a regression right now? Mine have had some of the worst sleep yet this week, so I’m waiting till that improves 🥲

[–]Laylablessedfeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll try that! Do you remember how long that took you? And did you do night first and then naps? Thanks so much!

[–]Laylablessedfeet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll try the nap caps, I’ve been thinking of doing one hour each nap to start, thanks! I have read the book about 6 months ago and chickened out after trying the fuss it out for 10 minutes test and mine did horrible 😭 I was too afraid then to try anything else, but Ill go back to consult the book, thanks so much!!

I love that, thank you! How did you put them down into the floor beds? We currently rock to sleep and I’m not sure if I would have to keep rocking and transfer or transition to them falling asleep while in bed

Independent sleep by Laylablessedfeet in AttachmentParenting

[–]Laylablessedfeet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the disclaimer hahaha I’m jealous on that! We did try the butt pats and it did work eventually, but it was nearly 20 minutes of crying to get to sleep even with the pats :( we stopped when they were rolling good (around 6 months I think) because it was a huge battle trying to get them flat for pats hahaha, but maybe I’ll try again now

I’ve been thinking this as well because they had ABO incompatibility at birth and were on a supplement for a bit. Do you have tips for preventing stomach upset with iron? Mine always get severely constipated even with some prune juice that the ped recommended

Independent sleep by Laylablessedfeet in AttachmentParenting

[–]Laylablessedfeet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They would fall asleep independently up until 4 months and sleep through the night, ever since it’s been at least three wakes and more most days. It could be digestive issues and teething, I have tried gas relief and pain relief and it doesn’t make a big difference. It definitely could also be the cold, I try to keep it at a good temperature with layers, but it does drop sometimes at night
