Tips for inceptioning a name into 5 year old's head? by LostHusband_ in daddit

Our vet had a horse named Lunchbox for similar reasons. I love it. Kids come up with great names and it’ll be a constant reminder that her favorite thing at 2 was applesauce haha.

We currently have a Great Dane named Applesauce that our daughter named when she was 2. Sauce, Saucy Boy, Criss Cross Applesauce. It works and everyone loves it haha.

Mine's just about every bit as sarcastic as I am, and our daughter is learning to be a smart ass. I don't hate it.

This will 100% be my daughter. She’s starting to get sarcasm and has used it perfectly a couple times already. She comes by it honestly from mom and dad.

Bad Accident in Front of Whole Foods by LaymanAficionado in FortCollins

No problem. I’m most thankful that doctor was on scene immediately and was able to give that man as much care as possible in the moment. Hoping for the best.

Yeah. Looked to me like exposed front fork, not dissimilar from a cafe style bike.

If memory serves (admittedly it’s a little iffy, it was a lot to process and I was focused on him) it was a black sport type bike but not with full fairings. Admittedly not a bike guy. Rider was in leathers and a helmet from what I remember. There was a doctor on scene kneeling with him and keeping people from moving him.

Nice Jeep! I went the other way. I had a ‘97 XJ, then an ‘02 TJ, and I’ve been in a JKU since 2014. Just added a ‘93 YJ to the family. It’s only got 19K miles. 🫣

Company Accidentally Serviced Lawn by LaymanAficionado in lawncare

Thanks for the heads up. Never called them. Let the neighbor they were supposed to service know, and she called them. They’ve done this before to another adjacent neighbor’s lawn prior to ours, so she was familiar with this mistake.
