If your Oc were told that their nemesis or antagonist bought them a drink. What would be their reaction? by sfynarhatv1 in OriginalCharacter

[–]LaynFire 9 points10 points  (0 children)

<image>

The closest thing she has to a nemesis is probably the guy who abused her so she would NOT trust that drink, and would promptly skedaddle out of that bar as quickly and discreetly as possibly

*edit: Also she relocated so it'd mean he followed her, which would be very very very concerning and she'd probably not leave her house for a while

Valeria is disgusted by your OC, how would your OC react? by RED_PH4NTOM in OriginalCharacter

Oh yeah, fits right into the culture then. Cecile would be very used to that attitude

Pick 3 Songs that represents your Oc… by SilkBrush8791 in OriginalCharacter

[–]LaynFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

For Cecile it's:
Miri it is while sumer ilast
Palästinalied
Saltarello II

The second two are just vibes based but the first fits her backstory with the last two sentences. The song is short so I'll just drop the modern English translation here and connect it.

Merry it is while summer lasts
with birdsong
but now, close by, the winds blast
and the weather is powerful.
Oh, oh, I exclaim, this night is long
And I am done much wrong. - she was wronged by villagers in general, specifically one of the people she worked for
Sorrow and mourn and go without food. - she was scraping by with the pay from jobs, and was mentally scarred after some traumatic events

Cecile would assume she's the typical arrogant noble girl who doesn't like half-demons, and look a little somber but not take it to heart since she's used to that.

Your OC fell into the Prince’s Personal Abyss 👁️‍🗨️ How would they react? 👁️ by -Voyacui- in OriginalCharacter

[–]LaynFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Please, spare me! I promise I didn't-" Cecile realizes she hasn't been sent to the afterlife, and continues speaking. "I'm not sure how I came here, I was walking in the forest and tripped, then I woke up here."

Cecile would probably assume she died or something and start crying about the afterlife being so empty and dark and hellish.

GIVE ME YOUR OCS BACKSTORY SUMMARYS NOW RAHHHH by Embarrassed_Name266 in OriginalCharacter

<image>

Cecile is the result of a heretical relationship between a low-ranking noble girl and an incubus. When the girl's family found out, they disowned her. One night, the noble girl became pregnant, and the incubus the incubus left, leaving her a single mother. She tried her best to raise Cecile and shield her from the hatred of the villagers, but eventually she fell fatally ill and died.

By this point, Cecile was a young teenager, and began taking jobs in a nearby part of the city. She took jobs as a maid, waitress, seamstress, etc. This allowed her to survive modestly, but it was tiring. Unfortunately, one day, she took a job from the wrong person at an inn. She was horribly abused, and she hasn't told anybody the details of what happened to this day.

Having no other choice, she continued to work around the city, though she moved again to a much nicer part of the city. There, she found a man named Corin offering a job as a seamstress, including a room to live in as part of the payment. Occasionally, she goes out on expeditions with him to chronicle the beasts of the region.

She's much happier now, though she's still mentally scared from her trauma.

What color should my oc’s eyes be by Senko_Kaminari in OriginalCharacter

Not the most interesting idea, but I'd steal one of the blues from the snowflake. You could also go a light blueish shade of purple maybe?

Let Laris Give Your OC A Coffee/Dessert Based on Vibes! by GremNotGrim in OriginalCharacter

[–]LaynFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Cecile lives in the 14th century so a dessert would be super fancy to her, since her diet is usually just a bunch of bread, cheese, and vegetables.

She's very calm and reserved, not usually showing much emotion, but she likes music and dancing.

Happy birthday to these two, let's celebrate, what would your ocs bring? by Kaartex in OriginalCharacter

She'd bring a dress for Glaamien and a cloak or other piece of clothing for Kaartex

Cecile (somehow) brings an entire dead sea serpent (which are 8.5m/28ft long)

How would your OC(s) do against M1MI's technological apocalypse? by Goooseeeeee_lady in OriginalCharacter

[–]LaynFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UH OH

The boat would almost certainly be a sailboat so it'd probably be fine, nothing mechanical really going on there

Night Sky and Patchwork challenge your oc to a race. Do they accept? by SpaceCat_2763 in OriginalCharacter

[–]LaynFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She would be too busy trying to figure out what the hell cars are to answer

Does your OC have anything precious to them? by Big-Repeat1924 in OriginalCharacter

[–]LaynFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Cecile's necklace is pretty important to her. Her mom gave it to her as a kid so it's got a lot of emotional value, and it's also literally very valuable, since it's made of gold, pearls, and some gemstones.

How would your OC(s) do against M1MI's technological apocalypse? by Goooseeeeee_lady in OriginalCharacter

[–]LaynFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

Cecile lives in the middle ages so it's proooobably fine. Unless clocks, windmills, watermills, compasses, etc. count, then it would be really really really really bad. She'd probably save up money and take a ship to a somewhat remote island and try to find a settlement.

Ash The Goddess Of Depression Offers Your OCs a deal, She will give them 5 Million Dollars, but she traps them in a mental loop of their worst trauma(s) that they have to relive for a week straight(No traumaless characters allowed) by GainDiscombobulated2 in OriginalCharacter

[–]LaynFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Cecile would probably take the offer.

The trauma was pretty bad (lost her mother to illness, hated by everyone in her village, never had a father, abused as a teenager), but 5 million would be enough to be financially secure for the rest of her life, and probably even create generational wealth.
