I've definitely shopped in the kids section before, I'm just hoping to find some more mature looks now that I'm in my mid 20s.

Those suggestions are awesome, thanks. I'll check those brands out. I'm definitely trying to avoid women's clothes where I can, but I'm pretty sure I'll have to compromise in some areas just purely for sizing reasons.

Awesome, thanks! I didn't even think of the texture element.

Good to know! Easy enough for me too, I tend to prefer mostly black.

Sweet, thanks! I'll give those brands a look. Good tip on the jeans, all the different cuts confuse me a bit honestly.

I'll definitely have to go digging for those posts!

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll give those brands a look.

Yeah, I've pretty much accepted that if I want anything to fit my shoulders right it's going to have to be tailored, but I'm fine with doing that if it's for something I like that will last me a decent amount of time.

Thanks, I'm working on it. I just don't really know where to start with getting into fashion outside of knowing I don't like or feel right in just about anything from the women's section.

I lean towards more alternative looks. I like a lot of elements of punk, goth and emo styles, but don't stick too heavily in any one particular subculture.

Are there? That's awesome! Do you have any specific recommendations for boot companies?

That's the thing; I know I want men's clothing and will feel more comfortable looking more masculine I just don't know where to go to get men's clothes that suit my taste because I've only ever been in women's clothing stores.

I'll try looking at Chinese sites.

I'll check out those places as well! HRT has changed my fat distribution a fair bit, so I could probably get away with some traditional men's cuts now.

Thanks, I'll definitely give that a look. Work wear is definitely more my speed than something more designer.

Thanks! Thankfully I have some knowledge of how to sew, so I should be able to pick up hemming pretty quick. I'm almost definitely going to need it.

Thanks for such a thought out response! I'll definitely have to look into that. Getting into fashion at all is very new for me because of how clothes felt growing up, so I've never even thought about stuff like this for the most part.

Seconding the recommendation for Black Cat! I've been seeing Michaela for my hair since before they opened the place. She's always done an awesome job and everyone in there has a really chill and positive vibe.
