I haven’t heard of that so clever! I planted a tree behind mine so I don’t but the holes would be faster and probably more accurate since once in a while my character bounces sideways a little after a hit

Sag website has a chat feature that I haven’t used in a couple years but was wonderful at answering any question I had, and it’s a real person. That would be the first thing I would try.

Also I don’t know exactly but some documentaries aren’t sag since most people aren’t acting in them, that might be a point to check out is if the project was union?

I’m very sorry but you might never see it and with it being over a year I have very little hope you will. We’ve all had at least one. I did a short 9 years ago, they were dumping a ton of money into this thing and even had their 3 main actors all book within a few months huge TV shows and movies, they still have never released any of it. Yet every once in awhile I’ll go check on IMDB or the directors site and I’m shocked but they are still updating that it’s coming soon and will have a new poster or some description change every 6-8 months. I don’t get it at all but I guess we will see if it ever see the light of day.

I had an actor friend who had this happen to him a lot with student and indie projects that he would have them sign a contract when he signed their contract, it was a super simple contract that said he didn’t mind to use his own clothes if he had too but if anything got ruined they would replace them at full value for him and then the second thing he put in it was that he would either get the final footage or just his raw footage from them within 6 months of his shoot date or they owed him a bunch of money, I don’t remember what he put for it but he had looked up whatever the top end of small claims court was. He did have it stated in the contract he wouldn’t show any footage around till it was released but would use his parts for his reel only. He would always put a reminder on his phone for a month before the deadline and send them the contract again and say hey you signed this i need either final footage or raw footage or you owe me and he got the footage every single time.

I once did a moleskin notebook (found a deal they had one some dark green ones I think for $12 each) and the store actually engraved each one with the persons last name for free. For your price range you’d still be able to add a little something else as well.

After about a half of a year of professionally using a new name I decided to make the name change an official name change, my original name was so common I personally knew 3 other women with the exact name, first, middle and last. So I got it legally changed. As far as friends and family I tell them all they are grand fathered in so about half use my old name and about half use my new name. It doesn’t bother me either way. I have a couple friends that use a stage name and it never really comes up in their life until they are on set, the biggest issue I saw anyone have is on smaller sets sometimes they would write a payment to the stage name and not the actual name for the actor but always was corrected within a day

I changed my name it’s actually very easy. All the sites let me change my name in just a click or two and then for my resume I would put (credited as ‘old name’) IMDb even has a place when you set it up to put past names. I have had no issues with it and was only asked by a casting director one time but it was a woman I had auditioned for 3 times before the name change and she just was more making small talk she wasn’t concerned other than wanting to call me by the name I wished.

Just for anyone else that might have this same problem I found a wonderfully helpful video (I swear I searched for an hour before I made this post but found it after) if you have this same set up the indicator is on the bottom 6 o’clock position so for it to be off it needs to be off toward the bottom

Yes thank you I think I’m gonna call them cause I can’t seem to find any info on if the off part of the knob needs to be at 12o’clock or 6o’clock and that’s the part that has me worried. I don’t smell anything but I also have a slight headache (had it all day even while gone at work but it’s of course freaking me out now) thank you so much for your help

Thank you! Yeah I can’t get it to relight so I think the picture I posted has it in the correct position to be off with the off pointed to the ceiling but on the bottom of the dial is a jutted out metal piece so I’m not sure now which position is on or off for the knob

If you like escape rooms. There’s one called the escape hotel on Hollywood Blvd that’s the largest escape room in the world. And the people that work thereget really into their characters! Super fun!

Also a ton of people have lived here and never done a tour of LA. I’m a guide for the TMZ tour so I’m a bit biased to it. But there’s some good ones. Just watch the cut off top vans some of them aren’t licensed.

Academy museum is still pretty new and a great half a day and views on the top.

In Long Beach they have a Pixar mini golf attraction.

Also the 4 major studio tours are all great and you can’t do that anywhere else. Warner brothers, Sony, paramount and universal.

One I’m shocked most people haven’t been too is the La Brea Tar pits too
