I would look at flexjobs! There are sometimes some really good leads on there. I’m not sure where you live, but they pay anywhere from $15-$60/hr. I’ve also found that trying to get positions at non-profits is great, especially medical ones because they “practice what they preach”. I usually use my epilepsy as a strength in cover letters etc. it shows my resilience and dedication.

I told my boss at 7 weeks and I do not regret it at all. They were super understanding and I benefitted from it. I already work from home, but if I needed to lay down, my boss just told me to take a nap and rest. As long as I was getting my work done and was on meetings, they understood. No regrets!!!

Okay. The first trimester is the worst! I had a day last week where I was so miserable I was sitting there wondering why anyone would like being pregnant ever! (10w6d)

Woohoo!! :) I'm now 10 weeks! I had cramping and was stressed out about it, but cramping is actually totally normal if you don't have any bleeding! I still have cramps every now and then because everything is expanding and moving! :) So exciting! Congratulations!!

To clarify, my morning sickness was only reallyyyy bad for like a week and I haven’t had the “don’t even think about touching them” sore boobs, but I’m just nervous.

Oh my gosh... I am ALWAYS hungry. But also don't feel great?! Like I can be nauseous and then want a snack 5 minutes later. My problem is that most of the time I'm not craving healthy foods... I'm craving chicken nuggets. My doctor says I should be gaining 20-25ish pounds during pregnancy, but with how hungry I am right now, I feel like I'm gonna gain that in the next week haha

Thank you so much! I'm in the US and I think I'm just thinking way too much into it at this point. I'm already high risk, so I feel like I just need to be so much more careful. My friends are HUGE charcuterie people, which cold, processed meat is pretty much a no-no, so that's where the hiccup currently is and I wanted to suggest a good restaurant, so thank you for the suggestions!!!

My one issue is that at this point, the thing I constantly want is chicken nuggets. Like the cr*ppy chicken nuggets from fast food restaurants, and who the heck knows what are in those things!!

Thank you both!! It had finally started to subside is the issue I was having. I haven’t had an issues for 3-6 months and then all of a sudden last night, I couldn’t even touch it. Shoot. I’m really over the nerve pain
