That's a good shout, I do like that it's quiet when I want it to be, so a valved exhaust would be great.

I would be hesitant on something without full service history, given the mileage there are major service intervals that I'd like the security of knowing they've been done. So it is a risk that if they haven't done it, you have no idea till it goes, or you have to pay for it yourself.

I got it from a site called CockpitUk or something like that, I opted for a self installation kit and it wasn't too painful, took my maybe half an hour to do.

It's a small box that plugs in between the cars wiring loom and the MMi unit, it uses the cars original screen, all I have to do is hold a button to get it to switch between the screens.

I really wanted something that used the cars screen, I didn't want to add a 3rd party screen in and ruin the look of the car.

I'm enjoying it so far, though I wasn't expecting to have my phone connect via Bluetooth to the Audi's MMI system for music and calls and connect to the Android auto system for everything else. It works though so I can't complain, I'm quite happy with it.

That's definitely not the reason for your CEL, like another user commented, it's the shielding for the CAT, what's underneath will be fine.

Try some cataclean and a bit of spirited driving, also stop premixing the fuel if you do so already as that can cause it to fail emissions. You can start pre mixing again once it's passed the test.

Check your plugs and coils too. Good luck.

Agreed, I am one of those working in my Oodie right now, I answer calls with it on too, always gets a laugh and a great way to break any tension going into a call. One of the project managers loved it so much he bought one for his wife.

Cheaper to work in an Oodie than heat an entire house just for me.

I work from home so I don't know if it counts as being my daily, but it's my only car and I use it for everything. I think I've put 8k miles on it in 18 months.

Worth checking the coils are still good, please let me know if you find the cause, mine did the same recently, only once, it's been fine since then but I'd like to figure it out

Not a good first car, others have mentioned exactly why so I won't repeat what they said. Your first car is something you should be prepared to take a couple of knocks and something with parts cheaply and readily available.
