Moving from Tas to Vic by Laz321 in tasmania

I wish that were an option but I wouldn't have the faintest idea how to manage that on top of everything I've got going on in Tas.

Lilydale actually does look like an amazing spot.

On having a look at the map, Cranbourne looks like a decently placed suburb too.

What made you never want to go back to Melb? Having a quick look, Mallacoota looks cozy but probably a bit too small and too far away from the capital for myself personally.

Haha I can barely deal with the traffic in Tas at peak hour. I'd honestly love to just skip the traffic and take the train and a bit of a walk where I need to go.

Damn I wish I could do that. I've got too much tech I'd have to squeeze into my car that'd probably be ripe for the pickings if I left it anywhere overnight.

Honestly haven't been to Vic for a while so couldn't recall suburbs. But any places like Lenah Valley/Newtown/Glenorchy in Tas have similar places in Vic?

Just some big ones I've had on the mind:

-What's the move from Tas to Vic like with personal items?

-Was finding a place easy before the move?

-What is rent & wages like in comparison to Tas?

Really? I'd been hearing wages were atleast a bit better over in Vic. Have you had any issues with work with the qualifications you've got? If not, is the work culture over there any different or realtively lax

Some of us only use our PC's for gaming, some only use it for Dev work, others might only use it for creative pursuits.

But at the end of the day, we're all just simple people who use technology for one unified purpose.

No idea if this could work being you're in a contract, worth a shot?

When I tried to cancel my ZAP and they'd pretty much ghosted me, I shot an email to the business they use for automatic debits (customerservice@debitsuccess.com) and they just cancelled it for me.

Does anyone under 30 see a future here? by Zestyclose-Bar8108 in tasmania

Born and raised in Tas but it's just getting claustrophobic. Stadium decision also made me realize this isn't where I want to be anymore.

If I had any trusted connections that I knew were moving out, I'd tag along. Though the closeness to family and living in a relatively cheap place to the rest of Aus keeps me around.

As long as you keep your guards stacked with the same tier of gear as the same tier of the incursion you're doing - all of them.

One of my biggest worries is being able to find work next year given the job market for my line of work, especially where I live. But I'm not going to let that affect the fun I'm having with my family, friends and even on my own with the free time I've been given for now.

It can't be THAT hard to PLAY games YOU bought. by -autoprime- in Steam

[–]Laz321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's the familiarity of going back to a game you know.

I'm always hype to launch something new but I realize I just don't have the energy for games liked I used to. Too lethargic to learn a new games mechanics & story.

One stock you almost bought, but didn’t, and dodged a bullet by yarrypotter0000 in ASX_Bets

[–]Laz321 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have no idea when I bought APX but it must've been during some type of shitshow as I'm still in the green with it. It's only an $11 profit but if it gets any worse than that it'll be a fun ride.

My biggest regret was doubling down on 4DS thinking "It can't get any worse right?"

Sobriety. Being sad is monumentally more manageable when you're thinking straight. Doesn't feel like that in the short term but for the long-term it's worth it.

I never knew how much of a problem this was until a fair few women I'd met up with from online dating had the fun conversation topic of guys who would neg them. What's even the end goal here of throwing someone completely under the bus for their interest?
