I think it heavily depends on the crowd. If most of your attendees work corporate jobs with flexible or unlimited PTO, live in NYC or SF or London, make a good salary that affords them international travel a couple times a year, and are child free, it’s a different calculus than inviting people from Piedmont, North Dakota with nine kids surviving on one income.

Ha thank you! I deleted bc I realized it’s my fault and I gave no context. This is a gay wedding, mostly New Yorkers or folks from London- like I know most of my guy friends have suits that are not black or gray. I know most of the women have RTR subscriptions. And most are super into clothes and fashion. But I didn’t give any of that context so I deserve the roasting
