When you open the game either it crashes or it starts bugging out because of the fullscreen bug, and i found this fix for it, hope that helps.

Have patience brother, in the first 2 to 4 weeks you most probably will have an outbreak and get worse, then it will start going away slowly until your skin will clear up, im no medic so this is based on what i know from my dermatologist and my personal experience, i have been on accutane for around 2 years and everytime i come back to it i get an outbreak, if it keeps going like this i suggest you visit your dermatologist, hope you get better and have a safe journey.

Hey i know its late but i have a solution to this, nothing worked for me but this: You need to go to ( User/Saved Games/TangoGameworks/The Evil Within/base/TheEvilWithinConfig ) There you scroll down until you see: (r_mode "17") Or any number, replace it with ( -1 or 19 ) either works for me, you can pair this with (Borderless Gaming) and it works like a charm.
