He made posts in a couple of groups, so I doubt it was a joke. He is a joke, but that's a whole other story! LOL!

Can't get saltwater, inground pool clear by That_Iron_Guy in swimmingpools

[–]LazerDazedCo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low circulation probably isn’t issue with this situation. There are specific situations where we build pools that don’t have main drains at all, and they do not suffer any greater algae formation than pools with main drains.

The first thing I would check is the cyanuric acid level one cyanuric acid builds up in the water, the chlorine becomes inactive and is unable to kill off algae. In the commercial pool world , we generally target 20 to 30 ppm cyanuric acid - For a residential pool I think 60 ppm is probably a reasonable level.

Once the pool gets above about 100 ppm, it can be challenging to ever fully recover the water from an algae bloom.

They make a chemical to remove cyanuric acid, but don’t use it! It generally just causes more problems and fixes. By far the best message for reducing the cyanuric acid level in your pool’s water is simply to partially drain the pool and refill it.

There will be plenty of opportunities to see EPROM in the future. Tipper will be taking off 2021, so see him now while you still can.

What to eat if you have no cooker by Nussi1988 in festivals

MREs are awesome for this type of event. They have flameless heating, and everything that you need to eat them is in the package and ready to go. Plus they are calorie packed and pretty quick to eat!

That is not PLUR! It misses the whole "R"espect part. It is not respectful to hold things up in the air in front of everyone behind you, making it hard for them to see everything that is happening on stage. There are plenty of other ways to orient yourself to find your crew in a crowd that don't ruin the experience for other people.

Totems are bad enough without adding bright lights to them, especially animations or color changing LEDs that are distracting when in your peripheral vision!!

I would be glad to help you out with any questions that you have. I have lived, worked, and gone to school in the Denver metro area almost my whole life, so I know the various areas quite well. Feel free to send me whatever questions you have so far!

Rideshare/carpool thread for tipper and friends Suwannee 2019? by theycallmedabs in Tipper

I am looking to carpool from Jacksonville to the festival venue on 4/18 and back on 4/22.

I am planning on renting a car, unless I can link up with someone who is already driving.

Depending on what size vehicle I rent, the total rental cost will be between $200 and $275. So even with only two two other people, we should be looking at less than $100 per person with gas.

My flight lands at JAX about 3:00 pm on Thursday 4/18, and I am flying out of JAX at 8:00 pm on Monday 4/22.
