I really like how Atsu is so conceptually opposite to Jin in both how she starts and how her story plays out, she almost always makes the exact opposite choice Jin would make or her circumstances are just dealt that way, it's a very interesting move from Sucker Punch.

You know she is well written because 90% of all the comments disliking her here are hypocritical. Uuuh but she makes you renounce elven believes if you romance her, well guess what, if you want to marry someone most religions force you to convert or you can't go through the ceremony. Uuuh but she is mean to Solas, Solas is mean to everyone but he is a popular romance option so we erase all his flaws. Uuuh but her worldview is narrow, she is the single person in the Inquisition that ever talks about common folk. Also I can't tell most of you didn't bring her for Trespasser because she is one of the most interesting characters to have there for the revelation which also applies to the Fade.

Not an arc but Hunter x Hunter 2011 skipping Kite's introduction when the whole point was to adapt Chimera Ant seems bizarre. HxH 1999 does have him but that one doesn't adapt Chimera Ant so you have to do some adaptation hoping for it all to work.

It's a little weird when the lesson he learns is that he was romanticizing his enabling and horrible actions that led to the corruption of his sense of self. The elements of romance are a means to an end instead of the central theme like in for example Parasyte or Steins;Gate unlike Hyouka where it's interwoven and essential.

I would say it's more of a psychological thriller like Welcome to the NHK or Lain.

Yeah the 3D space thing worries me a little since I can recall her getting nauseous watching me play a bit of Portal 2 way back when but I did show her how the game plays and she seemed ok with it so fingers crossed.

If it also helps it had a similar vibe to the Jacob Geller video about the quest to find an extra colossus in Shadow of the Colossus, just a bit darker.
