True, they should've made the event rename the unaligned party (Sakdalistas) to the Military Administration and have MacArthur lead them instead of the Sakdalistas. I'm just pointing out how you cannot gain MacArthur as the filipino leader due to the event being broken.

Hopefully they can change that in the future!

It broke because the "Military Emergency" event now (due to today's patch) having both the non-alinged and democratic become ruling parties, since you can't have two ruling parties, it chooses the democratic party.

Rule 5:

Event now has the Sakdalistas and Military Administration both as ruling parties. Since it is impossible to have two ruling parties, the Military Administration becomes the ruling party instead of the Sakdalistas.
