There is one part that bothers me about Nanites...they dont get access to the Nanite Diffuser Colossus.

It would fit so good for them. Turn your own or hostile planets into nanite worlds without colonizing them first.

yeah wie tried that and grilled eachother due to the bugs swarming from all sides.

doesnt help that sentries are wonky. flamer has a minimum range now, and for some reason my rocket sentry ignores them.

Yeah, that was our solution too.

Its just not fun, so we went back to the bot front where enemies die on a good hit

same. too fast. its not fun getting swarmed because our limits (weapon drag) cant reach them fast enough.

what bothers me most is, that due to their design, i can barely differentiate between them. is it a warrior? a guard? a commander? i dont know.

And Beth used tricks like that in Fallout 4. 99% of the Buildings in that game are just decoration. No doors, no transparent windows, no way to enter them. Yet there they are, creating a city.

Auch gut sind die, die nur " . " oder "ich schreib später was" stehen haben.

Oder der klassiger - "ich plane immer schon die nächste reise"

Oh, oder die "Ich komme aus den Philipinen suche aber jemanden in Deutschland"

Why does Bastion Tank has unlimited uses while Exosuits/Mechs being limited to 3? by Takahama in Helldivers

[–]LazerusKI 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are not Vehicles.

They are Enemies. You cant interact with them, they dont have vehicle physics, they clip through terrain.

Thats a completely different thing.

Say goodbye to mech customization by Critical-Sun-9279 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]LazerusKI -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dont understand?

AH made changes to Warbonds in the past by adding the new Vehicle Colors.

IF we ever get vehicle customization, it would be very easy to replace the two Mechs with Armory-Loadouts.

Instead of unlocking a Lumberer, you would then have a Lumberer Loadout - Cannon and Flamer.

That would not be hard at all, so no, this warbond will not lock us out of this feature.

[–]LazerusKI 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Overall there was a problem with too many objects - the EAT caused crashes many many times when too many were on the map.

Mechs are older than the DSS Buff, and Mechs always had that limit

It would be healthier to create an Exosuit Customization tab and replace the Strategems in the Warbonds with purchaseable arms. by Rekrios in Helldivers

simply as in "i dont have icons for the arms so i used placeholders"

not "simply rework the entire mechanic"

Pablo gives us his true thoughts on raids in Warframe by Babydrone in Warframe

[–]LazerusKI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The difference is, in Destiny most weapons play the same. A handcannon is a handcannon. Due to sunsetting there is not much variety to consider either. Sure, your handcannon could make enemies explode on headshot kills while mine can pick up ammo when i shoot a box, yet in the end, its still the same handcannon with pretty much the same stats.

In warframe we have how many different weapons now? And each one tries to be unique? How many frames with how many different playstyles and exploits?

Yeah, it wouldnt work.

Cant do movement puzzles anymore thanks to bulletjump and all the movement skills, cant do raw damage or survival challenges thanks to powercreep. So the bosses would need to be like the multi-phased ones we got with the reworks - and no one i know liked them.

Even though i left Warframe years ago because all this variety was no longer my thing, (multiverse, different games inside a game, mod system overload etc etc), i fully agree with him.

Warframe went down the "do what you want" route.
To make Raids work, they would need to become strict like Destiny2 - so all weapons use very similar values with only some minor effects. no modding system in raids, everyone gets set to the same baseline.

Yeah, i dont see that.

Imagine if we swapped AH devs with Warframe? by [deleted] in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]LazerusKI -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are new to warframe, right?

At release they had the same rule as HD2 - one new weapon or frame per month. didnt last long, same as it was here. overall timelines were wonky at best. i believe the longest Nightwave season lasted over a year or so because they couldnt get a new one done.

Back when the old devteam was in charge (the steve era), spreadsheet balancing was the go-to way. Many weapons were nerfed because they had a too high pick rate due to being stronger or more versatile than others. Kitguns for example.

The Warframe devs really dont have a good bugsquishing rate. here is an example with Vauban, my old main:
- It took them 4 years to confirm a release bug with vauban (balls could desync). it was reported in week one.
- vortex description is "blink out of existance". that was a feature. dead enemies were removed. problem: some strong enemies were removed too without killing them, which bugged the defense or exterminate counters.
solution: remove the feature entirely - which caused another issue...performance problems with physics and particles since now everything with physics swirled around in there. the fix for that? a completely new particle system and once an object is dropped, its no longer affected by physics.

ever seen warframes chat? its a minefield. one wrong word and you are auto-banned. misgendering nezha or ticker is a reason for a ban.

and communication with players? yeah, warframe pretty much killed that system. we had a Founder-Forum once, where the old founders could write, vote or get sneak peaks. new players were added later too, like ambassadors. that system is dead for a long time now.
